SEVAK participated in seminar on atrocities on women held at Vigyan Bhawan New Delhi by all India Urban and Rural Development New Delhi. Prominent social activist and first women IPS Mrs. Kiran Bedi and SAM PITRODA vetran women social activist took part from all states leading NGO’s.

SEVAK made survey in Pilibhit regarding the women atrocities and cruelty with the help of dist Police Pilibhit. It was found that women based crime and complaint was more than other crime, dowry, and dowry death registration of crime was main issue Sevak rais an dowry death natter in Central Social Welfare Board New Delhi in 1992-93 as directed by Mrs. Suniti Prasad visit at Pilibhit wife of Ex DG Police. That family counseling centre can help in such women crime headed districts, Mrs Radha Chauhan IAS DM Pilibhit recommended the project proposal and family counselling centre was started to protect women from atrocities in Pilibhit district.
 
SEVAK made a innovative Pilot project with Police for the minimising the women crime and family dispute which was main cause of increasing crime and after discussion on action plan joint experience and observation of crime nature past and record joint meeting of social activist and trained counsellors of FCC/NGO from social work dept. Lucknow university meeting 22-5-2002 hearing of complaint and redressial and presence of Police officer appointed by SSP was started twice in month and after monitoring Mr SA Rizvi made once in weekly, SEVAK became successful to minimize 40% women crime in Pilibhit. IG Police Mr. Prakash Subbarwal appreciated such a hearing and working of NGO and named a pilot Project, NGO gave such pattern training to Bareilly Police lady Police and social activists to start run Police family counselling centre. Mrs Shakuntala Kaushik President UP Social Welfare Board made appreciation with the NGO and project support work and declare to start HELPLINE.

SEVAK has self developed innovative action plan to minimize women atrocities and redressed of family disputes by its trained and qualifies master of social works volunteer staff and experience of 7 years providing the free legal aid counselling services and service provider on domestic violence on women.
