Aims and Objectives

SEVAK pays attention to the development and growth of children, women, men, aged people, handicapped people, small and marginal formers, landless labours, artisans and causal workers. Minorities issues, problems and solutions are high on its development agenda

Aims

To promote all round development of disadvantaged groups like BPL People, Scheduled Castes and Muslims Minorities in rural and urban areas in order to build a strong, self-reliant and developed nation
To conduct surveys and studies for Muslim minorities for their social, economic and educational development
To launch social justice campaign to including rest minorities in Article 341 of the Constitution of India, pertaining to national integration, peace, co-existence and making environment against the terrorism
To run educational institutions for Muslim minorities in Muslim dominant districts of Uttar Pradesh b y Endagogy & Pedagogy
To develop and protect wild life habitat in Tarai forest in collaboration with PSS, a sister concern

Objectives

To communicate to the people policies and plans of the Central and State undivided U.P & Uttrakhand Governments to the target people
To ensure the implementation of the development programmes adopted by the Government as per set targets through trained and expert volunteers
To promote voluntary efforts and motivate people to participate effectively in the development plans and programme
To promote innovative utilisation of district level natural resources & profile creating new horizons of self employment in Youth’s.
To create competencies in the state with respect to urban and rural development through research, training, consultancy and expert service in the fields of social welfare and legal aid
To open study circles in districts and work as per memorandum of association
To implement projects in the fields of rural health post, RCH-II services, women and child development, education literacy and adult education, women empowerment, self-employment, human resources development, protection of cultural heritage and sustainable agriculture, legal aid, social agro forestry & wildlife with its habitat promotion work in Tarai Forests in U.P.
To create awareness for development agenda and programmes of national and state governments for Muslim minorities and create environment for their education, literacy adult education, self-employment and to organise workshops and seminars for national integration and co-existence for National peace creating development agenda.
